 When Anya wakes up in the morning, she and Nico often like to start the day out playing together in Nico's room while listening to Nico's current favorite musical artist, Enya.

Nico was in a super creative mood today, possibly influenced by his recent find on YouTube of the series, "Mister Maker", so he spent the majority of the day creating things with various craft supplies.  The invention above he titled "Splat Monster".  He also made a birthday package for Daddy made from a napkin, and his final creation of the day was a sewage treatment plant.

 Our vibrant, energetic, curious, inquisitive, creative, talkative, fun Nico telling me that the octopus he created has green tentacles instead of red tentacles, because red tentacles hurt octopuses.

Fall is upon us, so while Anya was taking her morning nap, Nico and I created a little fall scene using his stencils and the fun package of Halloween characters that our friend, Catherine, gave him.

Nico arranged and glued this character all by himself except for a little help from Mom to turn both feet from upside down to right side up.

In the afternoon, we were treated by a very special visitor, Auntie Michelle, who was in town for a work conference.  Nico couldn't get enough of her and had a blast playing all kinds of fun games with her!
